i360, Brighton

N&C Glass supplied toughened laminated glass to British Airways i360 viewing tower in Brighton. The award winning iconic landmark is situated on the famous UK seafront and is visited by tourists throughout the UK and internationally, which has increased tourism in the city.  Since its opening in 2016, BA i360, as it is referred to, has received 21 awards for to recognise the incredible design and structure. 

Designed by Architects, Marks Barfield based in London, the tower is stretched to an impressive 162 metres tall where the passenger viewing pod climbs to a height of 450 feet (or 138 metres). British Airways i360 is 20 feet taller than its sibling, the London Eye, which rises to 132 metres.
